- Location: Canberra, ACT
- Product code: KOS
Kosci Kudos!
Level 4: Walks are 8-10 hours per day, alpine or mountains environments, weather conditions variable, long steep ascents and descents, mostly rough tracks and some rock scrambling in places.
Arguably Australia’s wild frontier, the Kosciuszko National Park is steeped in Australian early settler history. The summiting of Mt Kosciuszko is only one small part of this mountain adventure that takes us through snow gum forests, along rumbling mountain rivers and over range tops. Beautiful wildflowers dot the trails along with snowy bluffs at elevation. Our trek takes in Dead Horse Gap, Merritt’s Meadows, and Mt Kosciuszko. After our solid days of trekking we are able to soak up twilights in cosy mountains lodges, enjoying delicious food and wine and fresh mountain air.
