GirlsTrek Christmas Charity Walk

OVERVIEW:

Celebrate the festive season with a GirlsTrek hike for charity. Profits will be donated equally to our chosen charities, Suited to Success, and Share the Dignity.

We encourage you to join the GirlsTrek team in contributing the following:

Dress for Success -The mission of Dress for Success is to help unemployed and underemployed women achieve economic independence by providing no-fee programs, development tools and professional attire to thrive in work and in life. 

Please bring an outfit you no longer have use for that is near new or gently used for casual and/or office style wear.

and/or  

A toiletry bag with simple make-up.

Share the Dignity - End period Poverty 

Please bring a shoulder bag sanitary wear for a women and her teenage girls and family toiletries such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, shampoo, conditioner and body wash.

Bring your contributions on the day of the hike and we will transport them to the charities.

The charity hike is a 10 - 12 km circuit at Enoggera Reservoir. There is a variety of water views, undulating rough tracks and fire trails.

The Gap Park n Ride Bus Station

Waterworks Road, The Gap

Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the start time prepared with daypack, water, and any personal needs.

Inclusions:

Guided walk and post walk refreshments. 

Exclusions:

Travel to the meeting point (self-drive)
